Booking terms

All quotations/provisional bookings are valid for 14 days.
A 20% deposit is required to secure the booking (unless otherwise stated).
The balance is payable 60 days prior to arrival.
No-shows will not be refunded.
Check-in is strictly from 14:00 unless by prior arrangement.
Please advise arrival time of guests.

Payment

Cash deposit payments must be pre-arranged with head office and carry a 3% surcharge on the total invoice.
Forex (international money transfer): bank fees are the responsibility of the travelling guest — should this not occur, RETURN Africa reserves the right to bill a 3% surcharge on the total invoice.
Should a refund need to be made on a forex or credit card payment to an international account, RETURN Africa will not be held liable for any exchange rate fluctuations.
Regret no cheques accepted.
When receiving an invoice from RETURN Africa, please ensure it comes from one of our official reservations email addresses: reservations@returnafrica.com.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be received and acknowledged by RETURN Africa in writing.
Cancellations of bookings for which no "commitment fee" has been paid will carry no cancellation fees.
Cancellations of bookings (for any reason other than a WHO pandemic advisory that directly impacts the booking) for which a commitment fee or full payment has been received will incur the following cancellation fees:
If cancelled between confirmation and 61 days prior to arrival, the 20% commitment fee is forfeited.
If cancelled 60 days or less prior to arrival, the full reservation value is forfeited.
All cancelled bookings that qualify for a refund will be refunded less a 5% handling fee.

 Verified Hammer Appartement mit Mega Blick auf Camps Bay und einem zentralen Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang Wir haben neun unvergessliche Tage als Familie in dieser Unterkunft verbracht, und es war einfach nur mega! Die Aussicht auf Camps Bay den Lion’s Head und Tafelberg im Hintergrund war atemberaubend, der Pool auf der Terrasse ein Traum, und die gesamte Ausstattung der Wohnung ließ keine Wünsche offen und war voll ausgestattet. Es befindet sich sogar ein Grill auf der Terrasse und die Sonnenuntergänge alleine schon lohnen sich diese Unterkunft zu buchen. Parken geht direkt am Haus. Das gesamte Personal war superfreundlich, allen voran Simon, der uns perfekt betreut hat und zu jeder Zeit ansprechbar war. Das Housekeeping hat täglich für strahlende Sauberkeit gesorgt, und das Frühstück wurde jeden Morgen frisch in unserer Unterkunft zubereitet. Die Gegend ist zu dem super sicher! Vom Wäscheservice bis zum Bügeln – es war alles dabei, einfach perfekt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden, geben volle fünf Sterne und planen schon unseren nächsten Urlaub in dieser Unterkunft.

 Verified You’ve elevated my expectations anywhere I go now. My expectations were beyond exceeded. From entry to leaving, there’s was never a time I felt left out. Helpful staff just elevated the experience and they really are prize jewel for this accommodation. Views were spectacular & we appreciate the little details that was catered for, such a really good speaker and the oyster knife. Making this the best booking I’ve ever been on.

 Verified A serene slice of paradise From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by Simon. We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment on the ground floor, which was both cozy and secluded, offering the perfect blend of comfort and privacy. The overall ambiance was so peaceful and quiet, it often felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Each floor of the villa featured its own private entrance and swimming pool, adding a luxurious touch that made our stay feel truly exclusive. We especially cherished the tranquil evenings spent in quiet reflection, sipping wine as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the breathtaking vistas of Camps Bay. The villa is absolutely stunning and we managed to view the other floors as well, which are perfectly suited for larger groups. The interiors are tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork, and there's even a wine cellar that adds to the charm. The location was ideal for leisurely morning and afternoon strolls to Camps Bay beach, making it easy to soak in the natural beauty of the area without needing to drive.  Verified قصة افريقيا سحر من الخيال … كانت اقامتي في فيلا قصة أفريقيا من أروع الاقامات في خليج كامبس مكان رائع للاسترخاء و الاستجمام مكان مناسب للعائله و للجمعات ..أقمت فيها مده 8 ليال في يوليو25 حجزت 6 غرف الطابق الثاني و البنت هاوس … الفيلا موقعها مميز مرتفع تعطي اطلاله بانوراميه للمتنبي بي .. الفيلا مكونه من 8 غرف واسعه يمكنك استئجارها كامله أو جزء منها وكل جزء له مدخل خاص .. و هي موزعه على 4 طوابق .. الطابق الارضي مكون من غرفتين و صاله و مسبح و لها مدخل خاص … الطابق الثاني مكون من مدخل خاص ، ثلاث غرف و غرفه زجاجيه فيها تلفاز مناسبه جدا للكبار و الأطفال و صاله ، حمام للضيوف في الصاله ، مطبخ مجهز ، مسبح شرفه مع جلسه خارجيه و مكان للشواء … الطابق الثالث عباره عن مدخل خاص ، صالتين حمام في الصاله و بلكونه و مطبخ و توجد جلسه خارجيه مع نافوره و جلسه خارجيه اخرى في البلكونه ..الغرف موجوده في الطابق الرابع عباره عن ثلاث غرف واسعه تجمعها صاله صغير و فيها غرفه مكتب الغرفه الماستر فيها بلكونه و مطل رائع و ساحر على الكامبس بي .. الطاقم العامل في الفيلا جدا متعاون و صبور وراق في التعامل ..و خاصه السيد سيمون متواجد أغلب الوقت لم نحتج الى شيء و الا تم توفيره .. لديهم خدمة الافطار كان منوع و لذيذ و تستطيع الطلب قبله بيوم و يمكن توفير أنواع الطعام .. البنات جدا لطيفات و متعاونات و صبورات ( سيساندها /نولو / ايزو / بيلا) يقومون باعداد الافطار ثم ينظفون الفيلا و يغادرون قرب العصر الفيلا .. شكرا للجميع و شكرا من كل قلبي أنا و عائلتي …

 Verified Our home away from home We were once again so satisfied with the accommodation and service at The African Story. The standards are always so high and the house is beautifully maintained. We had the most relaxing time and Simon our host was more than happy to help with all our requests. We love The African Story and aim to return next August. Guides from pafuri supported the ride and made it possible - Zane was incredible. Godfrey and his team ensured the meals were amazing and hungry cyclists were fed in the most beautiful and unexpected places along our ride.

Beautiful, spacious and private rooms right on the river - we could do birding from our porch. The staff was amazing and the food was exceptional. Our guide Brad helped us to identify 82 bird species in just two days. He also has a very good knowledge on plants, trees  flowers etc and we learned a lot of new things about the bush through him.
