WIN WITH RETURN AFRICA & SUZUKI

OutdoorX 2026 | 29 – 31 May 2026

1. Promoters

This competition is jointly promoted by:

• RETURN Africa (“Return Africa”); and
• Suzuki Hoedspruit (“Suzuki Hoedspruit”),
• Suzuki Bassonia (“Suzuki Bassonia”),

collectively referred to as the “Promoters”. The competition is run in connection with the OutdoorX 2026 event.

2. Competition Period

The competition runs exclusively during the OutdoorX 2026 event from:

29 May 2026 (opening) to 31 May 2026 (closing)

No entries will be accepted before or after this period. The Promoters reserve the right to extend or shorten the competition period at their discretion, with notice provided on their respective social media platforms.

3. Eligibility

This competition is open to:

• Natural persons who are South African residents with a valid South African ID or valid permanent residency permit;
• Who are 18 (eighteen) years of age or older at the time of entry; and
• Who complete all steps of the entry mechanism as described in clause 4 below.

The following persons are not eligible to enter:

• Directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of the Promoters or any of their subsidiaries, affiliates, or associated companies;
• The immediate family members (spouses, life partners, parents, siblings, or children) of any of the above.

4. How to Enter

To qualify for entry, participants must complete all of the following steps during the competition period:

• Subscribe: Scan the QR code at the OutdoorX stand and sign up for both the RETURN Africa, Suzuki Hoedspruit & Suzuki Bassonia mailing lists; and
• Follow: Follow RETURN Africa (@returnafrica), Suzuki Hoedspruit (@suzuki_hoedspruit) & Suzuki Bassonia (@suzuki_bassonia) on social media.

Failure to complete all steps will render an entry invalid. Each person may enter only once. Multiple entries by the same person will be disqualified.

5. The Prize

One (1) winner will be selected to receive the following prize:

• Grand Prize – Baobab Hill House Stay: Three (3) nights’ accommodation for up to eight (8) people at Baobab Hill House (self-catered), located in the Makuleke Contractual National Park. Baobab Hill House is a secluded ridge-top sanctuary sleeping 8 guests in 4 rooms; and
• Bonus Prize – Vehicles: Two (2) Suzuki Jimny 5-door vehicles for use by the winner and their guests during their stay to explore the Pafuri area. Collection would be in Hoedspruit or Johannesburg (Suzuki Bassonia).

Prize inclusions and exclusions:

• The prize includes: accommodation for 3 nights for up to 8 people, and use of 2 Suzuki Jimny vehicles during the stay.
• The prize excludes: fuel for the vehicles; travel to and from Baobab Hill House; and any other costs not expressly stated as included.
• The prize has no cash alternative and is not transferable or exchangeable.

6. Vehicle Responsibility

By accepting the prize, the winner and their guests acknowledge and agree that:

• The winner accepts full responsibility for both vehicles and all occupants during the period of use;
• The winner will be liable for the full cost of any damage caused to either vehicle while in their possession, fair wear and tear excepted;
• The winner must hold a valid, unendorsed South African driver’s licence and must comply with all applicable traffic laws;
• The winner must ensure all occupants wear seatbelts at all times; and
• The winner must not operate either vehicle under the influence of alcohol or any other substance.
• Standard Suzuki rental terms and conditions apply.

7. Booking and Travel Conditions

• Validity: The accommodation stay must be completed by 31 December 2026. No extensions will be granted beyond this date.
• Booking: The winner must contact RETURN Africa within 30 days of being notified of winning to arrange booking, subject to availability.
• Travel: Travel to and from the vehicle pickup is excluded from the prize and is entirely the winner’s responsibility.
• Forfeiture: If the winner fails to contact the Promoters within 30 days of notification, or fails to use the prize before 31 December 2026, the prize will be forfeited.

8. Winner Selection and Notification

• One (1) winner will be selected by means of a random draw from all valid entries received during the competition period.
• The draw will take place after the close of the competition on 31 May 2026.
• The winner will be notified via the contact details provided at the time of entry (email and/or telephone) within 5 business days of the draw.
• If a selected winner cannot be contacted within 10 business days of the initial notification attempt, or if the winner is found to be ineligible or declines the prize, an alternate winner may be selected.
• The Promoters’ decision regarding the selection of the winner is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. Privacy and Personal Information

• By entering this competition, participants consent to the Promoters collecting and processing their personal information for the purposes of administering this competition, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
• By subscribing to the mailing lists as part of the entry mechanism, participants consent to receiving marketing communications from the Promoters. Participants may opt out at any time.
• The winner consents to their name and/or likeness being used by the Promoters for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

10. Publicity

By entering the competition, participants agree that the Promoters may use their names, photographs, and any content shared in connection with the competition for marketing and promotional purposes across any media, including social media platforms, without further consent or compensation.

11. Limitation of Liability

• The Promoters, their employees, agents, and associated parties shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrant or winner arising out of or in connection with this competition or the use of the prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• The Promoters are not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries.
• Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law.

12. General

• The Promoters reserve the right to amend, suspend, or terminate this competition at any time, with reasonable notice, without liability.
• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
• By entering this competition, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
• This competition is subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where applicable.
