A heritage property with charm in every corner — each room individually styled. A coffee & tea station, filtered water, air conditioning and nightly turndown are standard throughout.
South African plug points are available throughout, and backup power supports lighting during outages. Bathrooms use refillable amenities — please use water mindfully as part of our commitment to sustainable hospitality.

In-room safe
Setting your code: open the safe (unlocked on arrival), press the small red reset button near the hinge — you’ll hear a beep and the keypad lights up. While lit, enter a 4-digit code of your choice, followed by “A” or “B.” The keypad blinks twice to confirm.
Locking: with the door open, enter your code, close the door, turn the handle to locked, then press “A” or “B” (whichever you used to set it).
Unlocking: enter your code followed by “A” or “B.”
Air-conditioning
- On/off: press once on the remote.
- Mode: cycle through Cool, Heat and Fan.
- Temp: adjust up or down.
- Fan: low, medium or high.
Smart TV & DStv
Smart TV apps (Netflix, YouTube, Apple TV)
- Turn on the TV with the remote.
- Press the Home button.
- Use the arrow keys to choose your app, press OK.
- Log in with your own account details.
- Press “Log Out” when you’re finished.
DStv (satellite TV)
- Turn on the TV, then press Input / Source.
- Select HDMI1, 2 or 3 — one is connected to the DStv box.
- Press OK, then wait 5–10 seconds for DStv to appear.
- Use the DStv remote: P+/P– to change channel, OK to select.

Laundry service
Find a black and white laundry bag in your room’s cupboard, with a price list and form inside. Fill it in, leave the bag on your bed, and our team will collect it.
Gratuities
Entirely at your discretion, and best given once, at the end of your stay. Speak to a member of the management team if you’d like guidance.
Curio shop
A small shop at reception carries branded items, jewellery and other souvenirs — just ask at the desk.
