All in all a 5 star experience Had a fantastic stay with great friends at the tented camp in Pafuri. Food and service were excellent, and our guide, Brent Evans, had sound knowledge of the birds, trees, and other plants that added much value to our trip.

Pafuri Camp is lovely but still a work in progress All-in-all we enjoyed out stay very much. However, there is still a lot of maintenance happening after the floods and hence a lot of noise. I know it is necessary, and business can't stand still, but it did interfere with the tranquility of the bush. While the staff and service were great, it still felt overpriced for what we got. Maybe a slight discount while the maintenance and working continues, might make guests feel a little more amenable.

PERFECT STAY A magnificent and unforgettable stay! Our stay was absolutely amazing and felt incredibly personal, almost like being with family. Our guide, Mille, was hands-down the best guide we have ever met, completely outshining everyone else during our 10-day round trip in Kruger. Staying in the tented camp felt authentic, and the comfort was just perfect. The food was excellent – simply a flawless experience.

Special Family Holiday at Parfuri Camp We had a wonderful time at Parfuri Camp with our children. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. Everything worked seamlessly. Our guide, Brent, was a human encyclopedia and full of knowledge about the area, the birds and the animals. It was a magical stay, one which i will remember forever.

Nkula Walking Camp is a great Experince We stayed in Nkula Walking Camp for 3 days End of September/October 26 and had a wonderful time. The concept of morning and evening safari walks with time to relax in between is nice. The camp is in a wonderful location and offers everything you need and the team is really nice and warmly. Patricia treated us to 4 good meals every day and the tents and the whole camp were taken care of well. Bongs and Neil were relly good guides and the walks were really exciting and very diverse as we visited different areas with different landscapes (like the Fever Tree Forest and places along the river). We saw a lot of animals while walking (even elefants, buffalos and hippos), which was a great experience on foot, but we always felt safe as the guides knew very well how to encounter them. Overall it is a great experience for those who want to be a bit activ between all those game drives or self driving safaris.

Tsonga Tribal Conservation Initiative to Support 3 Local Communities near Punda Maria Gate This wedding for 58 people, family and friends was an outstanding success in every respect. Accommodated in 4 person or 2 person private thatched tents on the edge of the river the guests had 5 star service surrounded by the African Bush between the Kruger Park and Limpopo River. Its incredible what can be achieved where there is a will to accomplish something outstanding and excellent.

A truly special place and people Pafuri , and its people , have a magic all their own … this is the jewel of the Kruger…don’t expect the big 5 but this is where the bush is truly alive ! Once you have experienced Pafuri itself you will get to know the staff, who will feel like family and the food is some of the best in South Africa, told to me by a Safari Lodge reviewer on my latest trip.Return Africa is aptly names as that is what you want to do as you leave.

Hidden gem in northern Kruger National Park - PAFURI CAMP The highlight of our stay at Pafuri Camp was the breathtaking combination of spectacular landscapes, untouched nature, and unforgettable safari experiences. 🌿🐘🦅 Specifically, the exceptional guiding experience with Hlala, whose knowledge, passion, and respectful approach to wildlife—especially elephants—made every game drive unforgettable. 🐘 Watching elephants in their natural habitat while learning about their behaviour was truly a highlight. The breathtaking landscapes, from ancient baobabs to riverine forests and dramatic viewpoints, are unlike anywhere else in Kruger. The rich history and cultural heritage of the Makuleke region added another fascinating layer to our safari experience. The luxurious tented accommodation provided the perfect balance of comfort, tranquility, and immersion in nature. Pafuri Camp is a destination that offers so much more than a safari — it's an experience that stays with you long after you leave. From the beautiful riverine scenery to the incredible wildlife encounters, every moment felt like a true immersion in the wilderness.
