There are daily commercial flights to Hoedspruit from Johannesburg or Cape Town, connecting with a 50-minute RETURN Africa charter flight to Pafuri.
With direct charter flights from Johannesburg to Pafuri Airstrip available on request.
MAKULEKE CONTRACTUAL PARK
Situated between the Limpopo and Luvuvhu rivers, the Makuleke Contractual Park is the meeting point of a multitude of habitats, resulting in a region of extraordinary scenic beauty and biodiversity. The concession is by far the most diverse within the whole of Kruger with almost three quarters of the Park’s bird, mammal, fish, amphibian, reptile and tree species being found here

7-hour drive from Johannesburg.
640km / 7H00 from Johannesburg to PAFURI CAMP
Follow N1 North to Louis Trichardt (Makhado) ±430km from Johannesburg
Continue on the N1 for ±60km (over Soutpansberg mountains and through Verwoerd tunnels)
500m after the Baobab toll plaza. Turn right onto the R525 towards Tshipise
Follow the R525 for ±135km until you reach the Pafuri Gate entrance to the Kruger Park
After paying the Kruger Park entrance fees continue for 22km inside the Park.
Look out for a left turn onto a gravel road signposted to Pafuri Camp.
The left turn is 150m before the road crosses the Luvuvhu river bridge
(Turn back if you find yourself crossing a river!)
HOEDSPRUIT ROAD TRANSFER
