CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIME

Check-In is from 14:00 until 17:00.

Check-Out is at 11:00 am.

If you are staying at Baobab Hill House or Pafuri Walking Trails you need to check-in at Pafuri Tented Camp.

HOW DO I GET TO PAFURI?

Flight Access – Per Person One Way

Hoedspruit Fixed Charter Flight

  • Flight operates between Hoedspruit (either Civil or Eastgate) and Pafuri landing strip.
  • For the occasions that Civil is being used, rates excludes 20 minute road transfer between Hoedspruit Airport (Eastgate) – where commercial flights land – and Civil Airport.
  • Flight times can vary and are subject to weather conditions. Should the flight not be able to take off due to weather, it will be replaced by a road transfer. The balance of the flight cost will be refunded .
  • The flight from Hoedspruit to Pafuri departs Hoedspruit 14:00 and arrives in Pafuri at 14:45
  • The flight from Pafuri to Hoedspruit departs Pafuri at 11:45 and arrives in Hoedspruit at 12:30

Johannesburg Ad Hoc Charter Flight

  • Flight operates between JHB Grand Central and Pafuri.
  • Includes road transfer from JHB International Airport to Grand Central Airport (45 mins)
  • Arranged on request for a minimum of 2 passengers.
  • The flight to Pafuri departs Grand Central at 10:00 and arrives in Pafuri at 11:45
  • The flight to Johannesburg departs Pafuri at 12:30 and arrives in Johannesburg at 14:30

Drive To Pafuri Tented Camp

  • You can self-drive from Johannesburg to Pafuri Collection – this is a 7-hour drive
  • We can arrange a road transfer from either Johannesburg, Hoedspruit, or the surrounds to Pafuri Collection

CHILDREN’S POLICY AT PAFURI COLLECTION

  • Children of all ages are welcome at Pafuri Tented Camp. Children younger than 5 years old are not permitted on game drives unless a private vehicle has been booked prior to arrival.
  • Children of all ages are welcome at Baobab Hill House
  • Children aged 16 and older are able to stay at Pafuri Walking Safaris
  • Child minding is available at both Pafuri Tented Camp and Baobab Hill house at an additional cost.

IS THERE WIFI AT PAFURI COLLECTION

  • There is Wi-Fi in the main areas at Pafuri Tented Camp
  • There is Wi-Fi at Baobab Hill House
  • There is no Wi-Fi at Pafuri Walking Safaris

WHAT IS THE COMMUNITY AND CONSERVATION LEVY

The Makuleke Contractual Park (the Pafuri Region) is owned by the Makuleke Community, 100% of the community and conservation levy is allocated to the Makuleke Communal Property Association and to the conservation of the area. It is only through ensuring that the landowners (the Makuleke Community) are true beneficiaries of the land usage that the continued viability and protection of this special area will be successful.

WHAT DOES MY WILD CARD COVER

Your Wild Card covers the entrance to the Kruger National Park and does not cover the private Makuleke Community and Conservation Levy.
